> Curtin Motorsport Team interview produced by Curtin Journalism students, Sinead Lehane and Jack Moore

The Curtin Motorsport Team consists purely of university students who devote their time by choice and without monetary reimbursement. These students range in skills, experience, academic background, attitude and personality. To date, the team is also run and managed predominately by committed student team members. Every year the team endeavors to perform all of the necessary work associated with producing a Formula SAE-A vehicle within the limitations of competition rules and available resources.

CMT creates a unique experience, within the university, for students to apply the various skills that have been instilled throughout their degrees. The skills that are demonstrated within CMT are very diverse, and are not restricted to engineering. CMT uses the expertise of cbsplus to take care of the PR, marketing and sponsorship side of the team. Design students also have input in keeping the team image fresh and exciting with a distinct Curtin University uniqueness.

This multidiscipline team consists of 20 full time students, of various disciplines who devote their own time, knowledge and skills to the team. This display of team work and dedication epitomizes CMT and is the driving force behind the success that the team will inevitably achieve.
